ISO9001 Quality Management System
This focuses on regular internal reviews and implementing continual improvement to increase efficiencies and improve customer satisfaction. This has helped us to drive the business forward, improve quality throughout all operations and processes, and was a steppingstone to achieving our AS9100 certification.
AS9100 Quality Management System
AS9100 is the internationally recognised quality management system for aerospace industry and covers the additional quality system requirements of the United States Department of Defence (DOD), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
We are AS9100: REV D Certified, verifying BPE for the manufacture of precision machined components for these industries which was awarded in March 2016.

At BPE, we have recently achieved our SC21 Silver Award through participation in the Supply Chains for the 21st Century Programme. This is a business improvement programme designed to accelerate the competitiveness of the Aerospace and Defence industry by raising the performance of companies in their supply chains. It recognises the efforts of SMEs operating in these sectors, like Boyce Precision Engineering, who have made operational improvements, reduced overheads, and improved their growth potential. The programme is endorsed by all major UK Aerospace and Defence companies and overseen by the Aerospace Growth Partnership (AGP). The programme is delivered by ADS Group at a national level
