Final Season of Game of Thrones

This week marked the start of the Final Season of Game of Thrones.
I’m just going to “cut” to the chase here.
Did you know BOYCE PRECISION ENGINEERING LTD made extras swords for the whole TV Series? We were proud to be part of something major that has helped boost Northern Ireland’s Global image.
We also supply various set-pieces and set-props for other major film and TV series productions.
This just goes to show that our level of quality is somewhat a “cut” above the rest.

Aircraft Interiors Expo

One week to go before Aircraft Interiors Expo opens in Hamburg, Germany.
Boyce Precision Engineering will be displaying their advanced CNC Machining capabilities from the 2nd – 4th of April.

All final preparations are in place and we look forward to meeting all of you who have booked a meeting with us so far.

Capital Grant support from Invest NI

Boyce Precision Engineering is in receipt of a £606,000 Selective Financial Assistance – Capital Grant support from Invest NI. This project which is part financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the investment for Growth and Jobs Programme 2014-2020 aims to enable the company to expand through the building of a new 18,000 sq. ft. purpose-built factory, acquiring additional specialist machinery and increasing the workforce by a further 27 staff.

This major investment has been key to increasing our production capability and capacity and will help us to meet our strategic growth plans and boost sales in external markets, particularly in the aerospace and pharmaceutical sectors. The investment is part of a five-year project to increase our workforce, manufacturing capabilities, and grow international sales.

Another 5-Axis CNC Milling Machine for BPE

Due to our continued success and expansion, we are pleased to announce the purchase of our second Hermle C400 Simultaneous 5-Axis CNC Milling Machine. This will increase our current capacity to a total of four 5-Axis CNC machines and a grand total of twenty-one machines varying in 3-Axis, 5-Axis, CNC Lathes and CNC Mill-turn Lathes. Due to the variety of our machining capabilities, we are able to facilitate an expansive selection of material machining methods. Boyce Precision to double workforce

The company has built a new facility at Charlestown Road Industrial Estate on a site purchased from Invest Northern Ireland. The investment is part of a five year project to increase its workforce, manufacturing capabilities, and grow international sales.

 This major investment will help us to meet our strategic growth plans and boost sales in external markets.

Boyce Precision Engineering specialises in producing machined precision component parts for the aerospace interiors and pharmaceutical sectors. This includes manufacturing, machine prototyping, and tool and mould production.

Speaking at the official opening of its new factory at Charleston Road Industrial Estate, Portadown, Brian Boyce, Joint Managing Director said: “This is an exciting time for us at Boyce Precision Engineering as we begin the next stage of our journey. This major investment will help us to meet our strategic growth plans and boost sales in external markets, particularly in the aerospace and pharmaceutical sectors.”

Invest NI offered Boyce Precision Engineering over £600,000 towards the construction of its new 18,000 sq. ft. factory, purchase of machinery, job creation and staff training.

 This major investment by Boyce Precision Engineering is a positive endorsement of the strength of Northern Ireland’s manufacturing capabilities. Today’s factory opening marks an exciting new chapter for the company. This new facility and the creation of 27 new high value skilled jobs is encouraging news for the Portadown area.

The 27 new manufacturing jobs to be recruited by 2022 will generate over £800,000 in additional annual salaries for the local economy.
